The Arc Jacksonville's work is driven by a simple yet profound vision: a community where disability is a distinction without a difference, where every individual has choices in how they live, learn, work, and play.
This commitment to inclusion and empowerment is at the heart of the "Mission Series," an invaluable initiative designed to share The Arc Jacksonville's story with the community. These one-hour sessions offer a unique opportunity to see the organization's mission in action. Guests are invited for lunch, a tour of the facility, and an insightful conversation with key leaders. It's an intimate look at the innovative programs and services that are changing lives every day—from supported employment and housing to education and advocacy.

I'm incredibly proud to host this series and help shine a light on the critical work The Arc Jacksonville does, especially in the area of employment. As a member of The Arc Jacksonville's Board of Directors, I've seen firsthand the immense talent and dedication of individuals with IDD. Yet, far too many of them face significant barriers to finding meaningful work. My goal in hosting these events is to leverage my network and build new relationships that can create more opportunities. By connecting individuals that may need employment or volunteer or organizations needing fulfillment services, we can open doors and form collaboration opportunities along the first coast. This isn't just about charity; it's about recognizing the incredible value these individuals bring to our community and our economy.
